The Journey To MiDFur: Venue and con tour video now online

The video speaks for itself really, but it includes:
- A peak at some of the amazing features of the venue, including the pool deck dance floor
- Why you should be excited about the guests of honour, including footage of Big Blue Fox fursuiting and Stan Sakai’s art
- MiDFur board members Cyn Wolfe, Kraden and Carnival explaining some of the many features of the con, including events and accommodation

Feel free to share this video around. Don’t forget to the Bring A Mate discount, where inviting a friend who has never been to a MiDFur convention gets you $5 off your registration. This includes inviting people who went to MiDFur meets from 2007 and earlier. Also the $5 discount stacks for every person you invite.

Early Bird Registrations closing

At the time of writing, standard registration for all four days of MiDFur is at the Early Bird rate $145 - but after July 1st the price of standard registration will go up to $160 for those who have not paid in full.

In addition to the discount, we have two added incentives to encourage people to register and pay early.

Firstly, we have five copies of ArtRage Studio Pro (www.artrage.com) to give away. ArtRage is a professional art software program allowing you to digitally work in a number of realistic looking mediums that runs on both Windows and Mac. ArtRage Studio Pro normally retails at US$80 a copy, but we've received these copies as donations to give to five lucky furries.

To be eligible to win one of these copies of ArtRage, you must have registered for MiDFur (either Early Bird Standard, Hero or Super Hero) and have paid in full by July 1st. The five winners will then be drawn at random. If you've already registered and paid - then you're already eligible to win!

Additional if you've paid and registered by July 1st you'll also be given access to buy to an exclusive, limited edition t-shirt. These designs will be bold, graphic versions of the shields found of the website and will be either the hero or villain shield, depending on your alignment.

Also just to clarify, please make sure that you not only registered before July 1st, but also paid in full by July 1st to in order to receive the
$145 Early Bird discount price. Unpaid registrations after July 1st will default to the $160 Standard Registration price.

Note also that we will of course take into consideration the fact that bank deposits and other payment methods can take a few days to be received. So if you pay after June 25th we would appreciate it if you could email secretary@midfur.com.au with a receipt or some proof of the transaction send date.

So shortly after July 1st we'll be sending an email to everyone who has registered and paid with all the details about all of the above.
