• 2, The Ranting Gryphon

2, The Ranting Gryphon, is a professional comedian who performs mainly at sci-fi and furry conventions.

2 also performs and records audio 'rants', and hosted an Internet radio show called 2 Sense which ran for 87 mostly-weekly episodes, up to two hours in length, before being discontinued due to time and work constraints on July 2nd, 2005, at the peak of its popularity. 2 Sense 2.0 debuted on November 12, 2006.

A member of the furry fandom, he has a gryphon fursona. His name allegedly came to him in a dream about the creature. He regularly attends furry conventions and often performs stand up there. He has been the guest of honor at Califur, Oklacon 2004, Rocket City FurMeet 2005, Feral! 2006 and RBW 2007. He is also currently co-chair of Furry Connection North.

2 formerly resided in Arkansas, USA, in a social collective of fellow furry fans/artists ("furs"), known as the North Arkansas Regional Furry Association (NARFA). He now lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

• Uncle Kage

Dr. Samuel Conway, also known as Kagemushi Goro or Uncle Kage is CEO of Anthrocon, and regularly attends many other furry conventions. He has been a guest of honor at numerous conventions, both in and out of the furry world.

Uncle Kage's name is an abbreviation of the Samurai Cockroach, his selected fursona. Kage has claimed that his cockroach fursona is also part wolf. In 2001, Uncle Kage went incognito to Mephit Furmeet 5 as "The Unknown Furry", wearing a cheaply-designed fursuit, including a mask made from a paper bag.

Kage was introduced to furry fandom in 1989.

Uncle Kage is well known for his storytelling, always told with a glass of wine in hand, often based on everyday experiences - Uncle Kage's Story Hour is a popular addition to the schedule whenever he is present at an event. The Story Hour often involves a few humorous anecdotes from his own personal experiences.

He is regularly invited to tell his stories as a guest of honor at other conventions, both within and without the furry fandom, including I-CON, Eurofurence, ConClave, and Camp Feral, and now, MiDFur.

• Rose Quoll

Rose Quoll is an artist who started drawing furry art circa 2002. Rose also runs "Quadrupedal JellyBean", a business making fursuits on commission, working in the currently fashionable "toony" style. She created the Furry is Life logo. Rose's fursona is a Western Quoll (Dasyurus geoffroii).

Rose's experience with Fur Suit design is very highly regarded among the fur fandom, not just here in Australia, but all over the world.

An appropriate addition to the Guests of Honour list, Rose Quoll will direct special attention towards Fur Suiting. Rose will be the key feature in a Fur Suiting panel, and will be available at MiDFur X to answer any questions relating to fur suit construction, care and maintinence.

• Paul Kidd

One of the 'foundation furry fans' in Australia, Paul Kidd has been a professional writer for his entire working life.
Starting with computer games (such as Lord of the Rings, Discworld etc), he plunged into the worlds of RPG design and Comic writing, striking up partnerships with furry artists across the globe.

Paul's comicbook madness includes series such as Tank Vixens and Fangs of K'aath. He is a prolific comicbook writer, with swarms of stories published in the US and UK press.
On the web, the web comic Spooky and Tinkle continues to warp the minds of the unwary, his published RPG games include Albedo (based on the comic by Steve Gallacci), and Lace and Steel. More recent efforts have included the Tank Vixens CCG.

Paul Kidd has many titles to his name, including Lilith, DreamScape and more recently, Neue Europa. All independantly released through his own Publishing business, Kitsune Press, Paul has the experience, and the know how when it comes to authorship and self publishing.

Paul's knowledge and input will be extremely valued, and highly useful for any budding author, paul lives in Lizard Country, Western Australia, with his family and a random collection of mooching wildlife. He is a manic wargamer and RPG enthusiast, and studies Katana, Bo,Naginata and Yari with the Katori Shinto Ryu.
