About the venue
Arrow On Swanston has many features which makes it perfect for MiDFur:
- It's a two storey semi-underground venue with enough room for all the scheduled panel rooms, dealers den, fursuit lounge as well as a neat little lounge area and a fantastic space for our bigger events.
- The basement is an auditorium. Often a venue for concerts, the auditorium is fitted with awesome tech including a lighting rig, a speaker system that has been specially designed for equal sound throughout and a large screen for main events and the dance parties.
- The venue hire costs are less than half as much as the previous cheapest venue we could find and is equally equipped to our needs.
- It is located just north of Melbourne Central and right down the road from last year's venue.
- The convention space has two elevators!
The Arrow has on-site accommodation, meaning MiDFur is just a hop, skip or a pounce away.

Advance payment
Arrow On Swanston have set aside all non-student accomodation for MiDFur attendees, so to ensure those rooms are attendended, they require the first nights accomodation paid up front. Additionally, the entire stay must be paid 14 days in before MiDFur.

Breakfast
Breakfast passes are now closed, but will be available for purchase at MiDFur each day.
MiDFur has a really busy schedule full of events, and while there's too many to see in one day, your best bet for getting the most out of the entire day is making sure you get a decent meal in the morning. Which is why breakfast passes are available to order online now.
At $11 per day (plus an $1.36 booking fee) this is a buffet breakfast - think bacon, toast, eggs, sausages, cereal, juice, tea, coffee etc. Passes can be collected at the convention - and you don't even need to be staying at Arrow On Swanston to pick one of these up.
Behaviour
The venue of MiDFur itself will be in the second part of the Arrow On Swanston; beneath the long term student accommodation, as a result it is of the utmost importance that we respect the privacy of the students and are on our best behaviour so that we may continue to use the venue into the future.
