Website Re-style
"Because the last one looked like it had been done by a high-schooler" ~ Kraden
Kraden has re-styled the MidFur website to be more accessable and easier to read\manage. Don't worry though all the information is the same.
With some new Artwork of our favorite MiDFur mascots Cassie & Bounce (by Carnival) to grace the page header, the website is looking more like the convention it's intended for.
However, if Kraden happens to have missed something please let him know by sending an e-mail to Webmaster@Midfur.com.au
Conbook seeing art and text submissions!
Submissions are now open to enter your art, comics, short stories or articles for the MiDFur 2010 convention book and pocket program booklet. This year's theme is "Heroes and Villains" and we greatly desire artwork, stories, articles or comics based on that theme, although it is not an absolute requirement.
Guidelines
Art Guidelines:
- Both full page art and spot illustrations are desired
- The conbook will be printed in colour, so both greyscale or colour submissions are welcome
- Minimum of 300dpi
- Art submission preferred in a TIFF file format with LZW or ZIP compression
Text Guidelines:
- Text submissions in DOC, RTF or ODT format preferred. Note that we may have to alter fonts and layout to conform to the convention book
- Four page maximum
Submissions:
All submissions must be sent to conbook@midfur.com.au
The deadline is October 31
Please note that due to the large number of submissions we recieve, not all pieces entered will be able to make it into the books.
In your e-mail please supply the following information...
- Real name
- Any pseudonym with which you wish to be credited
- A statement conferring the right to print your submission by Australian Furry Conventions in the MiDFur 2010 souvenir convention book and/or program booklet
- If you do not attend MiDFur, you will be entitled to a free copy of the book posted to you, so also please supply a postal address in this case.
