Although we expect parts of the MiDFur 13 schedule to change leading up to the convention, the following is a good representation of what you should expect at MiDFur: Tails from the Crypt. We will be adding to the event descriptions over the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates.

2 SENSE LIVE
MiDFur the 13th will kick off with a bang! For the first time ever, the 2 Sense show, hosted by 2 the Ranting Gryphon and Jibba FoxCoon goes LIVE to the rest of the world from MiDFur! With Toast the Bunny behind the mixer, the 2 Sense show brings their whole production to Melbourne for this once in a lifetime performance! Gore News, Witchy Bunny’s Top Frags, Dear 2 - it will all happen in front of your eyes!
FURLYMPICS OF THE 13TH FURLYMPIAD
The fursuit games are back and this year they are bigger and better than ever. Held as one of our marque events, the fursuit games are specifically designed to entertain the crowd and players alike, as the fur suiters battle to determine who will be crowned the gold medalist of MiDFur the 13th: Tails From The Crypt! This is going to be one for the ages.
TAILS AND EARS
Want to learn how to make your own tails and ears? This workshop will be a hands on tutorial on making your own tails and ears, as well as other bits and pieces.
NOTE: If you want to be apart of this panel, please make sure you indicate this on your MiDFur registration form or register at the Con Ops room. Limited spots available.
ACTIVE FURS
This is both an informative session about maintaining your health and fitness, as well as a daily morning meet with some basic exercises and a jog around Melbourne’s finest sights. As a fursuiter, personal fitness is key - and this panel and interactive training sessions will give you tips and ideas as to how to maintain your fitness levels to get the most out of your fursuiting and life in general.
There will be morning exercise meets every day at 8am departing from the Members Lounge and a panelat 1pm on Wednesday in The Honour Room.
FURRIES IN FILM
Be it feature films, short films or personal films on YouTube - films and movies are a huge part of the fandom. With many people crediting films like Robin Hood and The Lion King their gateway drug to furry, this panel covers the influence film has on the fandom.
METAPHYSICAL FURRIES
This open forum about focuses on the spirituality, beliefs and inner truths that many people in the fandom have come to believe or understand. A meeting of understandings of the world around everyone, this panel aims to avoid organized religion per se, and instead focus on the understanding and deeper connections in a friendly, non-judgmental environment where everyone is equal. Hosted by Moskintia, and our esteemed Guest of Honour Tani DaReal.
FURSUITER PANEL
Hosted by a panel of world class fur suit performers and designers, this panel promises to be a favourite among those in attendance. Guest of Honour Tani DaReal, special returning guest Big Blue Fox with Snirf and a host of Aussie fur suit makers and performers will speak on the fine art of fursuit design and construction and the equally as fine art of performance with your suit. This panel is not to be missed, by both fans and fursuiters alike.
GAMING PANEL
Furs and gaming go hand in hand - but did you know there are furs who actually design some of the games that you actually play?
MY LITTLE PONY
Friendship is Magic is the re-imagining of the My Little Pony franchise and in the past year has gone viral. The cult following of these cute anthropomorphic ponies is growing larger every day and is officially considered a fandom in and of itself. In this panel we will examine why! We may even show an episode or two for those new to this cult phenomenon.
ANIME VS SCIFI VS FURRY
Following the raging success of last years Anime Vs Furry debate, we decided to take it one step further! Anime Vs Furry Vs Sci Fi. Where do they meet? Who is better? Will furry prove to be the dominant force, or will Anime win out? What about the dark horse, Sci Fi? How does that change the playing field? Find out in this passionate debate!
SERIOUS TALENT
A serious talent show? Sure! No judges, just pure talent! We will let the people decide! Set up to give people a chance to perform their pieces in front of a home town crowd, this talent show should not be mistake for the more controversial “No Talent Show” on Friday night, where the Judging panel will score you in a fun filled evening of hilarity and fun! There will also be a big GONG!!! Submission info to the talent show to be announced later in the year.
NO TALENT
The nasty hudges are back (and some of the nice ones too.) Come along, have some fun and share a laugh at this judged "No Talent" contest. See who is worse!
VAMPIRES VS ZOMBIES
The age old battle continues! Forget Deadliest Warrior, this debate will decide the fate of the undead when Team Vampire (Edward?) faces off against Team Zombie in a fight for the ages! Don’t miss this one as it’s sure to be a killer debate! Who will “live” (remain dead?) to suck/howl another day.
COMEDY SHOW AND CHARITY AUCTION
Our World Famous (yes, they even talk about our Charity Auctions at Anthrocon) Charity Comedy performance and Auction is back! The most anticipated event at MiDFur each year sees our home town legend and comedian Anthrax perform for a full hour, followed by Guests of Honour 2 and Jibba from the 2 Sense show as they make you laugh so hard, your wallet bursts open in support of our charity this year.

YOUR FIRST FURRY CONVENTION
Is MiDFur the 13th your first Furry convention? If so, this panel is for you. Hosted by 2 Gryphon and MiDFur Chairman CynWolfe, this panel explains the basics about attending a convention and how to get the most out of the next four days.
MAKE 'EM LAUGH
How do you tell a good story, and make people laugh? In this panel, seasoned and fresh comedians talk about the art of turning life experiences into something to something that can make an entire crowd laugh. Hosted by Jibba FoxCoon and Anthrax.
ART SHOW
The MiDFur Art Show will be presenting the best of furry artwork, both on display for your viewing pleasure and for sale.
ANIMAL ISSUES
A panel about the dangers facing animals in the modern world as we explore the life and death of some of the most interesting animals in the entire world with focus on the horrific and shocking.
WHAT IS FURRY?
Forget Wikipedia or Encyclopedia Dramatica, this panel will give you the real insight to the life of furries. With different perspectives about the life of a furry, including artists, fans, lifestylers and more, this panel will educate the less informed about the basics behind the furry fandom and why people choose to dress up like cats and dogs for a hobby.
CARTOONING
Hosted by acclaimed Aussie cartoonist, Dr Craig Hilton, also known as Jenner, this panel will be a fun and informative panel about the art of cartooning. From story development and story boarding through to presentation of the finished product, Jenner's experience and professional outlook brings a fresh new approach to the cartooning sector.
DANCE WITH ME
Our guest of honour Jibba is a trained ballroom dancer and will teach some basic dance steps to those uncoordinated of us, before sitting back and judging the first ever MiDFur dance competition. You can enter the competition with or without a fursuit. Come along and dance your socks/paws/feet off!
FURRIES IN LITERATURE
The finest in Australian fantasy literature come together in this informative panel about the finer points of quality literature, from story concept to finished published work. Featuring Paul Kidd, Dr Craig Hilton and more.
MIDFUR NOSTALIGA
A look back at MiDFur's of the past, with videos and pictures of key moments in MiDFur history.
BEGINNER ART WORKSHOP
With some of the most well known artists in the fandom taking part of this panel, you will learn the basics. From basic shaping through to the finished line art, this panel/ workshop will be most informative for those budding artists.
The panel will have a half an hour break at 2:30 to 3pm. From 3p the panel will take the form of a workshop where you will be able to practice the basics, and receive feedback from our panel of experts.
ADVANCED ART WORKSHOP
With some of the most well known artists in the fandom taking part of this panel, we take you beyond the basics. Colouring, finishing and everything in between, this panel/workshop will be most informative for those budding artists.

ANIMAL HORRORS
The super strange horrors of the animal world are explored in this scientific and zoological journey through the animal kingdom.
ANIME vs SCIFI vs FURRY
Following the huge success of the Anime Vs Furry debate, this year we open the field a little wider to include our brothers over at Sci Fi Land. Come along and watch as 3 "very authoritative" panelists discuss the merits of each fandom, and determine which is better: Anime? Sci Fi? Or furry?!
SOUTH FUR LANDS BINDING
South Fur Lands was initially published in 1995 by Jason Gaffney, Simon Raboczi and Marko the Rat. Goldfur became the sole publisher after issue 20 in 2001, though other furs still occasionally help out. Each issue is assembled at a collating party by Goldfur and furs who decide to lend a hand. This is a great opportunity to get to meet fellow attendees in a casual environment.

PHOTO WORKSHOP
Photography is just as much an art as drawing. From finding the right angle, through to coming up with the perfect snap and finishing the snap in Photoshop. This panel combines MiDFur's experienced photographers and media professionals as they show you what it takes to have a keen eye for photography.
FURSUIT WALK
Meeting out the front of the Winners Hall, the Fur Suit parade will take in the sights of Melbourne, finishing up in a very public place where fursuiters, in their element, can pose with members of the public.
