Dealers Den & Art Alley

General Guidelines
Tables this year will be divided between Dealers and Artists
Artist Alley
If you wish to sit behind a table solely for the purpose of drawing spot commissions (e.g. badges, character sketches, sketch books), then you may apply for table space in the Artist Alley.
- Only drawing will be allowed. If you wish to sell prints as well as draw, then you are a Dealer. No exceptions.
- Artist Alley spaces cost $15 per day.
- You may buy table space for as many or as few days as you desire during the convention. You will not be allowed to split days.
- You may upgrade to a Dealer Table later if you desire.
Dealers Den
If you wish to sell a range of goods or do on-the-spot drawing commissions while selling prints, then a dealer table is for you.
- Dealer Tables will be sold by half-table units, but you may apply for as many as you like (within reason).
- Each half-table costs $40 for the duration of the con.
- No discounts for multiple tables.
- Registrations close after October 31. From November 1, late applications will only be considered if tables are still available and a late fee of an extra $10 is paid.
Both Dealers and Artists will need to be registered for the conventionbefore you can apply for a table!
General Rules and Information
- Tables are 182cm x 74cm, so a half-table unit is 91cm x 74cm.
- No table space may be shared with or resold to another dealer without the prior consent of MiDFur's Dealer Den Coordinator. Refunds will not be given after the cut-off date for dealer registrations which is October 31.
- Only people wearing Dealer or Dealer Assistant badges will be allowed to sit behind a dealer table. If you need to make an exception to this, you must clear it with the Dealer Den Coordinator first. Badges for the Artist Alley will be issued on a daily basis from the Coordinator•s table.
- The rating of this convention is [M] - Mature. No goods of sexually explicit or graphically violent nature may be openly displayed, nor easily accessible by minors.
- Illegal or pirated material is banned. You can only sell products for which you have the sale or resale rights. The Dealer Den Coordinator has the final decision on this matter.
- You may request to be located next to another dealer. However, while we will attempt to fulfil your request, it may not be possible to do so.
- Electricity - Extension leads and power blocks will be available for all those requesting it. Special lamps, etcetera, need to be provided by the dealers.
- Wi-fi internet - Available at a charge through the hotel.
- Posting stuff on the walls will almost certainly be banned. You are advised to bring a display stand or pin-board if you wish to do so.
- All dealers will be required to leave their table area clean. Any cleaning costs incurred by MiDFur will be passed on to the offending dealer(s).
- No horseplay in the dealer den. The MiDFur board is not responsible for damages or injuries caused by dealers or their patrons.
- Excessively annoying lights or sounds are banned. The Dealer Den Coordinator will be the final arbiter of what constitutes excessive.
- Limited parking is available under the hotel for registered guests on a "first-come, first-served" basis. An elevator runs from there to all floors, and is directly adjacent to the Dealer Den on the ground floor.
- Dealers are advised to bring table cloths if they wish to cover their wares after closing as spares will probably not be available.
- The Dealer Den Coordinator and/or staff reserve the right to refuse service to any person or entity. If anyone is disruptive, ignores the rules, or harasses other persons and is not amenable to correction, MiDFur will take the appropriate action, up to and including removal of the offender from the convention. This includes dealers and friends as well as customers/members. If MiDFur's management and/or a Rydges Hotel official is forced to eject a dealer or any other person due to violations of the rules, no refund will be given of any membership or table fees.

Payment can be made by Direct Deposit, cheque or money order. It is very important that you follow instructions and put in all details or else your registration may be delayed!
